Sound Sculptors Piano Composition Workshop

Learn to Build Your Own Songs From the Ground Up

Students will explore how songs are constructed, from a simple spark of an idea to a complete musical piece. We’ll dive into the creative process, experimenting with different sounds, moods, and structures. By the end, each student will have created original music that’s truly their own.

Learn to Use Melody, Rhythm, and Chords Together

We’ll break down the essential tools every songwriter needs: catchy melodies, steady rhythms, and rich-sounding chords. Through fun activities and guided exploration, students will discover how these musical building blocks work together. They’ll learn how to shape their songs with intention and style.

Learn to Express Yourself With Curiosity and Confidence

Music is a powerful way to say what words sometimes can’t. In this workshop, students will be encouraged to explore their own voice through sound. There will be room to experiment, be playful, and take creative risks. It’s a safe space to be bold, be unique, and be wonderfully musical.

Learn to Tell Stories Through Music

Every great song has something to say, and students will learn how to say it through melody and rhythm. We’ll use imagery, mood, and musical tension to help bring stories to life. No lyrics are required, but if you have lyrics, bring them along. It’s storytelling, re-imagined through the piano.
