Ready to RAWK?!? *

* Or JAZZIFY / CLASSICIFY / BLUEGRASSIFY / WHATEVERIFY **

** Seriously - you can play any genre, but RAWK is the most fun word. Try it. Scream RAWK!

Hey there, future music prodigy! Are you ready to become the next Mozart or Dave Grohl? Well, I have a secret to tell you. You have what it takes to be a piano and drum ninja. Get ready to discover how music can both soothe your soul and rock your world because I, your friendly neighborhood music guru, am here to guide you on this journey.

My lessons are all about creativity, individuality, and having a blast. Think of me as your musical coach, your cheerleader, and your biggest fan. Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned pro, I'll tailor my lessons to your unique style and goals, so you can make your mark on the world. Want to learn how to play Liszt's Liebestraum *1 or bust out some sick beats like Questlove *2? No problem, we'll work on that together. Got a hankerin' for figuring out your favorite video game or movie soundtrack? Heck yeah, I love it! Ready to try your hand at writing your own original music? That's my bag, and I'm all in.

We'll learn how to read sheet music, play scales and rudiments, and practice technique. We'll also learn how to listen, analyze, and appreciate different styles of music. We'll even learn how to perform, record, and share our music with the world.

And hey, forget about boring recitals and exams - we'll take our show on the road. That's right, we'll play in unexpected places like laundromats, libraries, and even the zoo (if the animals are into it) *3. Who needs a stuffy concert hall when you can rock out in the wild?

And speaking of wild, we'll also get creative with our instruments. I'll show you how to turn your drumsticks into lightsabers *4, your piano keys into ninja stars *5, and your music sheets into origami cranes (I don't know how to do origami, but we can learn together) *6.

Don't let your musical potential go to waste. Let me help you unleash your inner Beethoven or Bonham. Trust me, you won't regret it. You'll not only learn how to play your instrument but also how to enjoy music in all forms. Let's do this!

*1 - While many people consider Liszt's Liebestraum #3 to be one of the simpler pieces Liszt wrote, it is actually STILL one of the more challenging pieces in all piano literature. Just because Yunchan Lim makes it look easy means nothing. Liszt was a BEAST.

*2 - If you don't know him, Questlove is the master of making an otherwise-simple groove sound like art. Watch him lead a masterclass of groove in the middle of a performance by the Roots.

*3 - It's a well-known fact that most zoo animals are deprived of good music. Think about the last time you visited a zoo. I guarantee the speakers were NOT blasting any awesome prog or some boppin' jazz. Elephants all rejoice for horn solos, zebras are known for enjoying the white-and-black of a keyboard, and no primates can live without a few flamadiddles.

*4 - It requires paint, heat, and LASERS. In the reverse order. But then the paint peels. It's tough, but we'll figure it out.

*5 - Do NOT attempt this... without pre-approved assistance. Your piano technician may be able to help in removing the keys if I'm unavailable, and then there will be a lot of table sawing, sanding, sharpening, more sanding, and then a glossy urethane finish. And when it's all done, you'll spend the rest of your days dodging the ghost of Mozart after you mutilated your piano. You've been warned. At least you'll have the ninja stars to fend him off.

*6 - My daughter's been doing a lot of origami, maybe I can learn from her and then bring that knowledge to you. Circular education!

Thanks for visiting, hope you have a great day!

There's nothing else here. You don't need to scroll any further.

Seriously. That's it. There is no more content. But please enjoy these pretty birds.

I lied about the birds. Birds can't exist digitally. There are no birds here.

I guess I can't really promise that birds can't exist digitally. It's never been done before, but we do live in the age of AI. Maybe once their brains have been fully diagrammed, encoded, then transcoded, there will be no issues with it? Ponderings for another day.

Do you want me to write more? Just go back to the form, and in the notes, let me know. Maybe I'll write some more.

I'm not sure what to write though. This page is for potential piano and drum students. Maybe a section on R-L drum stickings, and finger crossovers for piano scales? I'll think on it.

I'm still thinking on it....

I've thought about it. Not gonna do it. That's a lesson for in person. If you want that lesson, just fill out the form and I'll get back to you.

This is the end now.
