Youth Choral Club
Love to sing? Our Youth Vocal Ensemble brings singers ages 10–17 together to explore great music, develop harmony and musicianship, build confidence, and have fun performing together.
Who This Ensemble Is For
The Youth Vocal Ensemble is designed for young people ages 10–17 who enjoy singing and want the chance to make music with others. There are no auditions and no previous choir or vocal training is required, just an interest in singing, learning, and being part of an ensemble.
This group is a great fit for:
- Young people who love to sing and want to make music with others.
- Singers looking for more opportunities to perform and grow.
- Beginners who have never sung in an organized group before.
- Young musicians looking for a fun, creative, and welcoming place to belong.
What You’ll Experience
Weekly rehearsals will focus on the experience of learning and performing music together. We’ll explore a variety of styles, from Broadway and Disney to pop, folk, spirituals, and traditional favorites.
Along the way, singers will:
- Learn to sing melodies and harmonies as part of an ensemble.
- Develop musicianship, listening skills, and confidence.
- Learn healthy foundational singing habits through warm-ups and vocal exercises.
- Work with occasional guest vocal clinicians for additional coaching and instruction.
- Prepare music to share at Daggerhart Music Academy recitals and performances throughout our community.
Most importantly, this is a place to sing. We want young people to spend their rehearsal time making music, getting to know other singers, and discovering how much fun it can be to create something together.
Meet Your Director
The Youth Vocal Ensemble is directed by Brandon Daggerhart, co-owner and instructor at Daggerhart Music Academy. Brandon is a lifelong musician, performer, and music educator who loves helping young musicians build confidence, develop their skills, and discover the experience of making music together. The ensemble will also periodically welcome guest vocal clinicians who can provide additional specialized instruction and coaching.
