Give your learner a fun and confident start at the piano. This small group class is designed for complete beginners and is limited to four learners for personalized attention.
Who This Class Is For
This class is a great fit for learners ages 5 – 8 who are complete beginners with little or no piano experience. It is a supportive and encouraging way for kids who are curious about music to try piano in a small group setting before moving onto private lessons.
What Learners Will Experience
Over the course of weekly lessons, learners will:
- Build a foundation in rhythm and steady beat
- Learn basic piano technique and good hand position
- Start reading notes on the staff
- Play simple patterns and short songs
- Go home able to play a simple song

What Families Need
We recommend that each learner has access to an acoustic piano, digital piano, or a keyboard with full size keys at home. Even a basic keyboard allows learners to explore and practice what they learn in class.
