Our Community Choral Club is a relaxed and supportive singing group for adults who want to make music together. The group will be directed by a vocal coach who will guide members of all experience levels, including complete beginners. We will explore folk, pop, and traditional choral favorites. Music will be chosen based on its inherent beauty, so both sacred and secular music are accepted. Members can bring ideas for songs they want to perform, and some pieces will include optional solo opportunities.
Chris Knobil will be leading and directing (as well as participating), and we will start with a few selected pieces to get the Choral Club moving. The club will begin on Monday, February 2, and will continue on Mondays from 7pm – 8pm. Once we’re a few weeks in and learning the first pieces, we will start opening the floor to suggestions of specific pieces from members.
There will be a $40/month fee per club member. This will go primarily to compensating Chris for his time and expertise, as well as basic facility functions we need to take into account here at Daggerhart Music.
